CMP worked for the Environment Agency as part of the final Folkestone to Cliff End Flood and Erosion Management Strategy, to Construct new timber groynes at the along the beach to prevent it eroding.
CMP installed hundreds of timber piles and planks to construct the timber groynes. This piles were driven into the sand using CMP’s ABI piling rig and vibro hammer.
All the timber work was skilfully carried out by CMP operatives who are fully trained to cut and shape timber to suit the requirements on site.
